IMMIGRATION: H-2 Temporary Worker Visas

The H-2 Temporary Worker visa is designed to allow foreign personnel to fill seasonal, or temporary
job positions, such as agricultural crop pickers, ski resort personnel, race track personnel, or other job categories where the employer's actual need for the job position the employee is filling is less than twelve months out of every year.

The H-2 visa category is divided into two separate types: H-2A Temporary Agricultural Workders and H-2B Temporary Other Workers.
